Reunión de la UKSRG en la sede de Forbo en UK con ponencia de Juan Iriarte y Marcel Engels.
El 7 de junio se realizo una reunión de todos los miembros de la UKSRG UK Slip Resistance Group en la sede de Forbo en UK donde fueron invitados Juan Iriarte,Director Tecnico de WESSEX Laboratorio de resbaladicidad y Vicepresidente de la SRGS Slip Resistance Group Spain, y Marcel Engels (Werkstoffe Glas/Keramik GmbH).
En dicha reunión, entre varias cosas, se presentó la nueva web de la UKSRG, por la que felicitamos desde la SRGS : https://ukslipresistance.org.uk/
Marcel Engels hizo una presentación muy desarrollada e interesante, que supone un gran avance en investigación sobre la durabilidad y los materiales de referencia: "Slip Resistance, Durability and Reference Materials".
La presentación de Juan Iriarte trato sobre las nuevas tendencias globales de protección al usuario para la prevención de caídas.
Steve Thorpe y David Rubio Carceller explicaron al grupo el trabajo realizado los dias 5 y 6 de junuo en la sede de Lucideon para nuevas mejoras en la verificación y configuración de las curvas de deflexión del control deslizante. Esta curva es esencial para obtener resultados reproducibles.
Por otra parte se invitó a la SRGS ser miembro de la UKSRG, invitación que se ha hecho recíproca por parte de la SRGS.

On June 7, a meeting was held of all the members of the UKSRG UK Slip Resistance Group at the headquarters of Forbo in the UK where Juan Iriarte, Technical Director of WESSEX Slip Resistance Laboratory and Vice President of the SRGS Slip Resistance Group Spain, were invited, and Marcel Engels (Werkstoffe Glas / Keramik GmbH).
In this meeting, among several things, the new UKSRG website was presented, for which we congratulate from the SRGS: https://ukslipresistance.org.uk/
Marcel Engels made a very developed and interesting presentation, which represents a breakthrough in research on durability and reference materials: "Slip Resistance, Durability and Reference Materials".
The presentation by Juan Iriarte dealt with the new global trends of user protection for the prevention of falls.
Steve Thorpe and David Rubio Carceller explained to the group the work done on June 5 and 6 at the Lucideon headquarters for further improvements in the verification and configuration of the deflection curves of the slider. This curve is essential to obtain reproducible results.
On the other hand, the SRGS was invited to be a member of the UKSRG, an invitation that has been reciprocated by the SRGS.
